Some very good stuff here. Of course, there's some major omissions imo, but you can't please everyone. Two pictures of Obama? None of the inauguration of Bush with all the consequences that had for the world (you may like or dislike it, but few things were more important). Nothing about the crisis in Darfour and the civil war in Sri Lanka? Earth quake in Iran?
And slightly less important, it's not the end of the decade until a year from now... There's no year 0 in our calendar.
Still. Important stuff. I wish I could believe it's worth bothering to hope for better times to come...

As we enter 2007 the number of US Troops killed in Iraq pass 3000 - who knows how many innocent Iraqis have been killed. I guess this signifies the trend for 2007 as well, another newsyear overwhelmed by signs of the Americans complete inability to "get" the middle east, and to figure out what to do with it. Or maybe as important - what *not* to do with it. Anyways, some pictures.

OK, so this blogging thing hasn't really been going as I expected. On the positive side, it has been going as everyone else expected... In my defense, for the last few weeks I've been struggling with a problem on my server that, in light of another incident not long before, almost crushed my enthusiasm for computing on a whole (eeek, heresy!). Anyway, I've overcome this traumatic period ;) and I'm working on recovering the technical aspects too. It'll be a long and work-intensive project, but I guess it's a chance to clean up too, so there's some good coming out of it, I suppose. Hopefully it won't be more work than I can handle and still update this now and then...
